These tablets have a neutral Ph and do not attack the drip pans as others do. It kills and eliminates algae, mold and mildew from the drip pan. The tablet locks into place and has a slow and continuous release that lasts 3-6 months, depending on the size of the A/C unit and the tablet that has been put in. It works until completely dissolved and has no odor.
